A Taste of “Concentration Camp” Gaza: Chalet Edition
Inspired by the Gaza mall photos, I have featured on this blog various facilities from Gaza, with the aim of providing readers with a glimpse into the real Gaza, which is anything but a concentration camp as some claim.
My point is not that there is no hardship in Gaza, but rather that the situation is a far cry from what is being presented by the palestinians, their supporters and the mainstream media.
I’ve already posted some of the Airbnb listings from Gaza, as well as the White Chalet Beach resort, but apparently there’s a not insignificant number of holiday chalets in Gaza – 640 according to this article – which unbelievably still manages to somehow turn the phenomenon into proof that Gazans are suffering!

Some kids in #Gaza have vlogged about their time at 'the chalet', but I had no idea what they were talking about, so I just ignored it. Chalets kept popping up, however, and I finally worked out they are small villas w/ swimming pools, where families can enjoy a private holiday.

So I'm still wandering round the holiday chalets in Gaza. There seem to be dozens of them all over Gaza Strip. This one is interesting - Chalet and Resort al Tawfiq. It's right next to Sharm Park, just south of Gaza City.

Today, we get to have a look at Budapest Holiday Chalet, A-Zahra, Gaza Strip. It's just near Sharm Park, and probably not far from the newly opened Qasr al-Adel (Palace of Justice), which is a but further in from the coast, also in A-Zahra.
